Fugitive Locates

Fugitive locates are skip traces with a higher temperature: people avoiding a warrant, a bail condition, a civil bench warrant, or a court date they have decided not to attend. Investigations Plus develops lawful intelligence on where that person sleeps, works, and shows up, then hands the location to counsel or to the agency that actually has the power of arrest. We do not run bounty-hunter theatre.

When this service is the right file

• A defendant failed to appear and counsel or a surety needs a current location.
• A civil enforcement file has a warrant of committal or a similar court process.
• A person cut electronic monitoring or left a known address after a serious file.
• You have associates and hangouts, but no current door that will open.
• An out-of-province accused is believed to be back in Ontario.

We treat this as intelligence, not as a takedown. Sources, surveillance, and traces are used to build a pattern. We do not kick doors. When a location is confirmed, the client decides whether police, a bailiff, or counsel goes next. If the file is purely civil, we keep it civil. If there is a public-safety issue, we will say when police should be first. Notes assume the defence will one day read them.

Legal and ethical limits

Citizens’ arrests by investigators are a last-resort legal swamp we do not market. Firearms, forced entry, and impersonating police are forbidden. PSISA and the Criminal Code are the rails. If you want someone grabbed, you want a different kind of operator and we are not it.
